Titans bring back a player who dissed them
Marc Lebryk-USA TODAY Sports

It was just over one week ago that Tennessee Titans defensive lineman Jaleel Johnson threw shade at the organization on social media after being waived by the team.

In a series of now deleted tweets, Johnson called out the coaching staff for failing to recognize the real problems with the roster and said how much better it would be to not play for the Titans.

Not exactly the cleanest breakup for Johnson and the Titans. But shockingly, the two parties are back together again. Tennessee signed Johnson back to the 52-man roster on Wednesday morning.

Following the news of Johnson's re-signing, Titans head coach Mike Vrabel fielded questions about Johnson's unceremonious exit last week. According to Vrabel, the posts from Johnson were "out of character," and did not concern him moving forward.

"We had a conversation. I would say that's out of character for Jaleel," said Vrabel when asked about it during Wednesday's press conference. "Obviously, he was frustrated. I think we all at times get frustrated. That's how he chose to let that emotion out. Probably not the way that we recommend it and he knows that. But again, we all get frustrated at times. I don't think anybody's immune to that. I know who Jaleel is and I'm comfortable that he'll give us everything that he has."

In six games with Tennessee this season, Johnson has recorded 12 tackles on 91 defensive snaps.
